Join us in what we’re doing by giving of your time, talents and abilities.

Sherwood is staffed entirely by volunteers who are committed to the needs of program participants, our Seekers. Volunteers are essential to the functioning and running of all aspects of the organisation and the programs provided. All volunteers are provided with training in substance abuse and mental health, anger management and conflict resolution, basic food handling and work safety training and are encouraged to obtain training in first aid and suicide prevention. Education and individual case management is provided by those with recognised qualifications in Community Services. We have a variety of accommodation available for our volunteers, guests and Seekers including twin share dormitory style rooms with shared amenities, cabins and fully self-contained houses. All accommodation is furnished and fully equipped with essentials including linen. Sherwood is situated on 130 acres nestled at the base of a 100m sandstone cliff and surrounded by beautiful bush interspersed by sub-tropical microclimates.

Do you have a heart to see people set free from addiction, lives change and futures re-claimed? Connect with us to find out how you can be part of the Sherwood team.  We would love to hear from you.
