My life is changed for Eternity
Hi there, about 18 months ago I came to Sherwood. I was completely broken physically and mentally. After 20 years of alcohol and substance abuse I was done. The moment I walked into Sherwood I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. So, I proceeded to jump right into the work with the boys, my fellow seekers. I was able to change my focus immensely. I gained a great routine of food, devotions, groups and art. This really changed my outlook on life. I was getting used to actually living.
The Sherwood family is a lovely and close-knit community. I have made close bond relationships with all who I was involved with.

It is through God’s grace that I have made forward movements into a new life with a roof over my head and employment on the way. Praise God!
